I think that the course was very useful. I liked the materials and the activities; however, I would change some aspects, for example: it would be great that the course can see its mistakes in the quizzes; also more control in the assignment of the workgroups, I liked that everyone can choose their pairs and groups, but there should be more organization. On the other hand, my effort in the course was 5 (medium) because I had very activities of university, and also I work full schedule in a company. But generally, the course was good and I learned a lot.

Write a 60 word- reflection about your Simulation Discussion. What was the hardest part? What was the nicest part?

 

I think that simulation discussion activity was very funny. In my opinion, it was of important help to develop my speech. The part nicest was share with my workgroup; even though we were unknown, we achieved got fun doing this activity. However, the part hardest was dramatize the discussion and to film this because we always were laughing.

Three important aspects that called me attention from it:

• Employers may have concern for the potential loss of productivity, but recent studies have shown that social media interaction during the workday actually helps to boost productivity and retention.
• With current analytics technology employers have the ability to analyze internal company trends, consolidate employee skill sets, and find potential leaders that may have been hidden behind the scenes.
• Hackers can commit fraud, launch spam, or even launch companywide viruses through a social media platform. It’s important to protect your network with the same level of security that applies to proprietary business information.

Name and explain 1 reason why having a flawless grammar is important in Business English. 

Good communication. For me this is one of reasons more important of flawless grammar because actually the English is the language of international business and anyone that have skills as flawless grammar will help to communicate effectively the idea of your business and so to get the expected knowledge of people.

Write a short reflection of 80 words. What mistakes should you correct in your Résumé? What, in your opinion, is the hardest part of writing a Résumé?

 

I think that the mistakes that I should correct in my résumé are those relating to skills and the experiences as it should be more related to the type of work that want postulate me. In the same way, the hardest part of writing the résumé is to determine the experiences and skills that will be include in the résumé to convince to the employer. Also, learn to remove irrelevant information and some exaggerations in the aspects that are important.
